This is the fifth time in the last five months of my purchase that the Hitachi refrigerator (rt350endpbk) has broken down precisely for the Same reason. If these guys do not have the expertise of fixing a problem in their own product even after trying it earlier for four times then how can I ever trust them with any of their products.
A cheaper product and lesser known company has much better performance and service respectively. Request the company people to please take this out of my house immediately and refund me my money. Believe you me that this is the last Hitachi product I will ever buy no matter wherever I am in the world.
And this is what I am gonna advice to my peers friends and contacts as well.
