Don't touch the Hitachi ACs with a barge pole

I am completely frustrated after having bought Hitachi ACs. We were forced by the sales men to buy the AMC. The service is the worst compared to the other AC manufacturers although it is the most expensive. Its only a hogwash the high price and the AMC. Not once did they come and service the AC.


Now my AC has conked off within a year and despite multiple calls to the service center and the customer support number there has been no action. They speak like a broken record and every time you call they say somebody would come today and tomorrow. It has been two weeks now. You can imagine the state of affairs. They gave me the number to get in touch with the Noida service center. No one picks up the calls there.


50, 000 rupees gone drown the drain. I am now removing this one and getting an alternate brand. If you are thinking of buying Hitachi don’t even touch it with a barge pole. Worst customer service in the market. This is also not my first experience with a Hitachi product.
