A Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster!!

My good friend once commented about a book in which the earth is destroyed to make way for a Hyperspace expressway to the restaurant at the end of the universe. I was like on of those cartoon characters that just fell splat on the floor!!!! I had to read the book.... and I was totally amazed.

How can an author dream up something like this, something so nonsensical at face value, but having some deeper or lets say philosophical quotient in it....

I have read all the five books, all of them are good, but the first two are totally excellent and literally out of this world.

The author has written really well, maintained a fine balance between totally wackiness and logic. Plus the farce in each story does put some thought into the readers mind.

Like ’’Answer to the question of life is 42’’.... but then what is the Question..... and also, that mice are pan dimensional inter galactic beings conducting an experiment on humans, and the whole earth is just a complex brain.... too good... I think I have’nt come close to reading such wacky ideas put in a excellent, funny and understandable manner.
