Disappointing...

I have read The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, but I do not find myself recommending it to people.

In my opinion, the book is quite overrated.

The events that take place in the book can be deemed ordinary for any fantasy reader and the plot also proves to be quite predictable.

However, the tone used by the author is quite interesting and we sense feeble attempts at humour now and then in the book.

Any person who has no experience with fantasy, and wants to start his journey into it can read this. But beware, the style used by the author is quite descriptive and also newcomers to this genre might face problems while reading it.

The start to this book is slow, and it gets boring until you reach the part where the main storyline starts.

All in all, I do not recommend this book to anyone who is well aware of the genre, as, for them this can prove to just a waste of time.

Thank you for reading my review.
