In the month of July, I’ve visited this place. This waterfalls is situated by the hill of the Kaveri river which just flows in between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Trust me guys, I had a great experience with all my friends. I’ve celebrated my birthday and enjoyed for the whole time till I was there with my buddies.
This place is safe to visit as it has been covered by all safety measures. There are lot of places nearby this falls to visit.
There’s is one hanging bridge before this fall starts. It gives immense relaxation and just refreshes our energy but the drawback of his fall is its getting polluted day by day by the local vendors. It must be stopped or else it might loose its natural beauty. And after visiting this bridge you can have a ride to the local made boats called dongi but its cost is pretty high. It charges Rs.700/- per boat and allows a person by calculating his or her weight. maximum of 300 kgs can be carried out a time in one dongi. After crossing the hills we got a bank of kaveri rives and we started swimming there which was the best part of the trip.
We can have an options to stay there as I’ve seen some places to accommodate. We ate fresh fish curry at near by restaurants which was so delicious.
As per safety point of view, this place is safe and sound but I recommend that don’t go nearby the hills as it became so slippery due to regular falling of water onto it and cold be dangerous. Also, I suggest not to go on a ride of the local made boats without life jacket as the depth of the river near the fall is almost 100 feet as confirmed by one of the resident along with the bank of the river is calm but after just 5 feet its current becomes dangerous.
Meanwhile, I mus tell you that avoid to visit this place in rainy season as the water level will cross the mark of danger and all amenities stops by the management.
Its just an awesome place to visit but with full of precautions.
