I recently bought a new dining table from hometown in Great India Place, Noida and I regret it every single day. Their service is the most pathetic one I have ever experienced and the most cringeworthy too. I used my card to pay for the dining table in the store itself. And then the dining table was supposed to arrive at my house in about ten days. But they kept me in loop with it and delayed the delivery by almost a month. To the point where I thought I was just robbed by them. As I couldn’t think of any other way to complain about it with luck I finally got the delivery of the table with six chairs in about a month. The delivery guys harrassed me for tip money which according to the store people I wasn’t supposed to pay. Then it took them almost a week to visit my house again to assemble the dining table to the point where I thought to paying a carpenter to finally get it done but I decided to wait, a lot.
Now coming to the table itself it isn’t really what I expected and doesn’t really give the same feel it did at the display in the store. It looks really cheap and recieved scratches in just a month of usage. More of the glass on the table broke down in about couple of months and it took them a month to finally replace it. That’s the level of their slow service. Moreover after recently visiting their showroom once again I found out that they had reduced the price of the dining table I bought by almost 20k so now I finally feel robbed by hometown. Not at all recommended, take it as an advice and never buy anything from hometown.
