I have placed an order for a six set cutting edge casserole set on 31/08/2011 for my friend’s anniversary which falls on 15/09/2011 .My order no. was 905611119.While I booked it is told the max expected date for delivery will be 13th Sept, 2011.When I checked the order history on 02/09/2011, the status mentioned is that " cargo handed over to courier", I was happy that the product will be delivered before the anniversary of my friend.When I 06/09/2011 when I checked their site again, the status remain unchanged and then I called to them over phone, some representative told me that I should be rest assured that the product will be reaching me before 10th Sept. Today on 10th Sept, I checked their site again in the morning and found that here is no status change.I again called over phone around 11 in the morning, then again they assured me the product will be reaching me by 13th Sept.
In the evening, when I checked their site there is certain dramatic change in the status-"Cancelled for Refund".I immediately called them over phone, they replied that they are outof stock and therefore not able send the order. I again asked if it was out of stock w then why your site was showing " cargo handed over to courier" and where was my fault as I am not being able to send gift to my friend on the stipulated date.They were anable to satisfy me with a proper reply.I also asked them if you are out of stock then every date your company is give advertisment for the same product on Tv everyday to lure customer to buy the product.They simply try to fool the customers and block the amount of payment for 10-15 days.So, dear friends be careful to deal with homeshop18 in future.
