I’ve placed an order of Godrej Washing Machine worth Rs. 19175 from Homeshop18.com with order #918242955 on 30th Oct, 2012. Delivery time for the order was 14-15 days, I waited for that time, but I didn’t get my order delivered within that time.
So, I started asking them about my order status, their CC was totally clueless about the status of my order, they didn’t know when it was going to be shipped. I talked to their supervisor, who promised me that I will get my order shipped on within 2-3 days and I would be receiving it on 19th Nov, 2012 or 20th Nov, 2012 by latest. I was very satisfied by his reply, and decided to wait till that time.
19th Nov, 2012 passed, not received my order, waited for the next day, didn’t receive on that day too. Called their CC, they said they can not deliver it today (20th Nov), then I decided to wrote on their Facebook Wall, at my surprise, they were responding to other members queries on their FB page but they just ignored mine, being furious on that I started asking them repeatedly, but no response to my query, it was mental trauma given by Homeshop18, I decided not to shop anything from them in future whether they deliver my order to me or not.
At last, they only replied to my query on their FB wall saying "We’re sorry to inform you that your order has been cancelled and your money would be refunded to your bank account"
A customer pays Rs. 19175 in advanced, waits for his order to get delivered, you don’t deliver it in time and furthermore when he asks for the status of his order you just ignore him?? How mean is that??
I suggest everyone to avoid Homeshop18 for costly items, they will just keep money with them for 20+ days and at last they would cancel your order.
I wouldn’t ever shop with them...!!
