Highly Irresponsible

I had bought a Domo-Slate 3.0 Tablet from the website. I had to gift it to someone in a different city.


The product came after five days. However it did NOT have a charger. When I informed them, they took it very casually and it took and five days to get the charger.


Now, the charger fails to charge the tablet. Either the charger is bad or there is some problem with Tablet.


When I called HomeShop 18, they were very RUDE. All the softness they showed (when I was about to buy a product) just disappeared. One of the Supervisor at HomeShop 18 (Name: Tanuj Roy Chaudhary) was too rude. He clearly told that I should contact the manufacturer directly in Mumbai and that HomeShop 18 does not take any responsibility of any defective product delivered. Tanuj also told me that had I told them about the defected piece within 48 of receiving delivery, homeShop 18 would have changed the defective piece. However, he failed to understand that the charger was delivered after 6 days of delivery and that how could I have known about the charging problem without the charger.


In short, homeshop18 is bad. First level customer care executives are fine. Supervisors are really rude and bad. No point going to homeshop18 when other online shopping sites give you 1 month free replacement.
