I had the worst online shopping experience at homeshop18.com. I regret to have chosen this site for shopping for Raksha Bandhan gifts to my sisters. They left me with a partial delivery, unanswered email and cold responses to my call to customtakeouter care on two consecutive days. I had to write an email to them regarding the same. My email below will explain the ordeal I am in. As I write I have not received my remaining shipment.

I placed an order for 2(TWO) clutch purses on the 4th of August, 2012. These two were the gifts for my sisters for Raksha Bandhan.
To our disbelief, we received only 1(ONE) clutch bag on the 7th of August, 2012. I was embarrassed and was out of words to explain to one of the sisters why I couldnt get her the gift on the same day. I logged a ticket in your site for the same at 12:00 am midnight of 7th and 8th.
The next day, I called on the toll free number to register a complaint on the same and was assured that my previous ticket will be responded to ASAP. And then goes one full day without an email reply or phone call.
Today I called on the toll free number to follow up and again I get a cold response. What is baffling me most is that, till now, I havent got a word ofApology but only constant use ofO.K. I am agitated and irritated.
I can take it when my ticket is regarding delayed shipment or not able to view the status of order, which still is not acceptable. But, in my case I have logged a ticket for a partial shipment. Doesnt that deserve a quick response/action? Or at the least a customtakeoutaryApology?
I have been buying things online - books, music, movies, LCD TV, Microwave oven, from e-commerce entities like https://flipkart.com, https://landmarkonthenet.com, https://amazon.com and let me assure you, you offer the worst service of them all. I will run out of superlatives if I were to describe your customtakeouter care service.
I have decided to wait till the weekend. If I do not get the remaining shipment by then, I am going to approach the Consumer forum of India. I am also going write a strong feedback to AXIS bank to have tied up with such entities; I had shopped using the AXIS bank CC because of the offer. This will tarnish the image of AXIS bank which has been maintaining high standards of Banking service for years.
I have requested at the top that this mail be made visible to top management. I would like them to know the shoddy nature of service that is there at the ground level. I hope they will take measures to make sure, consumers like me are no longer put into such situations and make them mistrust e-commerce option. I will not wish you luck or anything; just pray earnestly that my package is delivered ASAP. In my common sense, when I pay in full and don’t get the full shipment, my vocabulary articulates that asFRAUD.
