Late Delivery, Defective and Incomplete Product

I placed an order on 02-Nov of  Avent Electric steam sterilizer (order no: 907255375) to sterlize bottles for my baby boy’s feeding.

  1. Homeshop18 provided me the courier tracking number but it took too long for courier company to deliver the product. Only after I escalated the matter to operations head in homeshop 18 about the delay in product delivery, then it was delivered to me after missing delivery timelines.

  2. When I opened the box of item, I couldnt see the bowl which was mentioned in the advert of the product,  so I received an incomplete order.

  3. To my shock, the power cord pins were broken, so I can not plug the product and use it.

  4. When I raised the complaint on 17-Nov with support ticket 68214711, I was told that I will get it immediately.  After that I didnt get response from homeshop18 neither they apprised me of the status of the cord and bowl. After many followups till date (23-Nov) I have still not received the cord and bowl. They just assure on the phone that it will be taken on priority, but they do not understand that how much important it is for a new born baby to get proper and sterilised feeding.

I strongly do not recommend Homeshop18 to anyone, I have been using flipkart and ebay for purchases for long time, trust I never had to worry about the quality of the product from these website.


Please do not buy from homeshop18.
