Request for cancellation not taken.

This is regarding the order numbers:


Order # 1. 918407839


Order # 2. 918474833


The above two orders are identical. Meaning the products are ordered twice. So I requested the people at homeshop18.com to cancel one of the orders and provide the refund of the order cancelled. The first order with the # 918407839 was placed on the 2nd of November 2012. This order did not get processed when I used the internet banking for the payment. The message was OUP - waiting for the gateway response. So I waited for 2 days and on the 4th of November 2012, I called up the customer care # : 0120-4455918. Here I spoke to 2 executives and inquired about the status of the order.


They said it ’may’ take 24 hrs. So now I asked them if they can cancel this order so that I re-order the same product again? to which they confirmed it is possible and told me to re-order. And I re-ordered with the order # 918474833. The next day, I received a mail that both the orders are processed and a sum of Rs.8000 was debited to my bank, whereas I was ready to spend Rs.4000. More over the orders I would receive is identical and it makes no sense to me to use it either. People at homeshop18.com did not process my request of cancellation although it was valid and was requested by me at correct time. It is very disgusting for customers to shop here if this is the way they provide customer care.


Please help me get my refund.
