1) Beware of their salesmen.
2) They will trap you.
3) Beware of their offers/discounts.
4) These schemes are only there to fool you and get a share of your hard earned money ASAP.
5) Once your money has reached their pocket, they dont care about you.
6) Whatever, you purchased will no be delivered to you on time.
7) They dont deliver what they promise.
8) I bought a modular kitchen. The salesman quoted a high price. I asked for a discount. He happily gave me the discount but also reduced the quality.
9) The kitchen was not delivered on time. When it was delivered and installed partially, the labor realized that not all parts had been delivered.
10) Hometown took another 3-4 days to send the missing parts.
11) In the meantime the labor had been booked elsewhere.
12) When the labor returned after 4-5 days, they realized that parts were still missing.
13) Hometown has asked for another 3 days.
14) When I asked them an explaination for the delay - I was pointed to the terms and conditions which say they can take upto 15 days in case parts are missing.
15) They have given me "n" no. of promises that my work would start on a particular day.
16) I made arrangements by keeping someone available who could supervise them. However, they never turned up.
17) Their so called technicians who visit your house to install the so called modular kitchen, dont even carry a copy of the kitchen design.
18) I bought a wardrobe, a bed and a dresser. the delivery date was after 50 days. They could not meet the deliver date. They have further postponed it to around 100 days.
19) They took the complete payment at the time of sale. The list is long.
20) The biggest mistake of my life was when I walked into the Hometown store and gave them my hard earned money.
21) Its my personal request to all fellow citizens of the earth - please never walk into a hometown store. They will trap you and you will end up giving money to them without getting what you bought.
