I did a research on Perth recliner sofas from various shops around marathalli, Eventhough price was bit higher than other stores I went and bought a Perth Recliner from fab furnish, outer ring road, marathalli shop. Here are the unfortunate incidents with the purchase,
purchased recliner at 15% off( day 1, night 9:30) - shop guys mentioned I will receive a call when the goods reaches their warehouse - 2 days before I need to pay full amount
Next day discount has increased to 20%
3 days later discount increased to 30%
4th day discussed with family and decided to cancel the order
5th day visited Fab furnish, Outer ring road marathalli shop to cancel the order - floor manager convinced to not to cancel the order by stating, he will see what he could do to adjust the loss because of this much price variation
Till 14th day no call from shop, visited the shop to check the status, - shop guys said it will reach on dead line, I can pay once the product is about the dispatch
15th day end, no call from shop - visited the shop, shop guys started to tell I did not paid so they did not sent - till 15th day nearly 20 calls to shop asking the status - paid full amount
16th day, still no call from shop guys, started to track 8 calls to shop no proper answers
17th day, sat on their head from morning, till night 8:00 Got the delivery - Still nothing on the discount side
Waited till 20th day, no call no discount, nothing from shop,
Visited shop on 21st day, shops sales guy offered me 500/- coupon; pissed off and asked for the right person to contact me on my mobile. shop guys mentioned I will get a call next day
No call for next two day, again I visited shop to ask about the discount, floor manager offered me a 1000 bucks( For the difference of 7300/- caused due price fluctuation, and not allowing me to cancel order also to delay in shipment) Pissed off, I talked with Mr. Subash, being a matured person, he told he will see what can be done, and will send coupon in mail
After a weeks time, when we did not receive any thing tried to catch up with situation, again Mr. Subash is offering me same 1000/-
Now I felt, let me leave those coupons as a charity to fabfurnish. When they cannot keep their words what the heck commitment they will maintain about the servicing and product. they can spend the money on at least calling customer to update status, as in all this issue not a single call is being made by store.
Floor manager is having a attitude which cannot be bared by any customer. Rash, Unwilling to sell the product, detached with the role, I am not sure how fabfurnish opted him as a floor manager for a sales point. No negotiation skills at all. If this guy is the one whom I need to talk excuse, I am not at all interested, kindly go ahead and give what ever discount you are willing to give me as a gift to him from my side and just inform me about the gift.(LOL)
