We already had one purple colour activa which was of 2nd gen, and recently we bought blue activa. We also bought one more 125cc(its other Japanese rival) moped by thinking there should be at least one moped different in the family and that was the terrifying decision ever. That other 125cc moped is now 1 year old and it gets constant problems like kick start is for only show, continuous battery problems etc. But this activas are mind blowing there engine is so silent and refined. Also there are no vibration even at 65kmph. It gives pretty good mileage too of about 50kmpl. But the combi breaks are not as durable as expected although its a good safety feature but eventually they becomes too lose and stopping power gets affected. And I DON’T know why activa don’t have telescopic suspension because the one which are on it are not that efficient as the telescopic ones. But any way the power delivery is so smooth and the pick up is also very swift.
Comfort on this moped is serene no back pain till 20kms continuous later on I guess any 2 wheeler give pain for pillion. For rider its too comfortable though.
The parts or easily available and are too reliable they are in fact maintenance free.
It has wonderful road grip with superb tyre performance.
As its an oldest moped in its segment so the road presence is not like the newly launched mopeds but for the looks its still the premium and trusted moped OF ALL TIME!
