The Honda Activa revolutionised the way we look at scooters when it was first launched in 2000, making them accessible to a wide range of audience. The Activa 4G, as the name suggests is the fourth generation model of the 109cc unisex scooter. It was upgraded in March 2017 with auto headlamp on ( AHO) feature and a BS IV-compliant powertrain.
Visually, the Activa 4G continues with the conservative styling of its predecessors. The only update over the previous version is the new paint schemes. The Activa 4G is now available in silver and grey in addition to the existing blue, red, black, white and brown paint schemes. It also gets AHO. Under the skin is the tried-and-tested 109cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which delivers 8bhp and 8.8Nm of torque. Featuring Honda Eco Technology, this is one of the most fuel efficient engines in the segment. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission. The Activa 4G gets 130mm drum brakes on both the ends with Honda’s proprietary combi brake system ( CBS)
