I bought Activa in May11 after thinking lot about which one to buy. Access, Activa or Wego. Test drove all three.
Wego was most comfortable in terms of driving. But it has attached dicci which means less leg space which makes slightly uncomfortable for taller people.and Also it looks small.Access is known for 125CC engine but it didn`t matter to me since I have to drive in Mumbai traffic and have only 10-12 Kms of travel a day. Activa has better looks among three.
Activa has high premium compared to others that is bcoz of its mileage and Maintenance. I went for Activa purely because of the maintance factor. My neighbor and Brother in law have bought activa in last 2-3 years.They had zero maintance till now and had no problem whatsoever.
One of them has not even serviced it as yet.Even here in Mouthshut some of the people have mentioned that they had very few problems ever after driving it for more then 6-7 years.I have been driving activa since 1.5 months and is comfortable driving.I have availed first free service and had a satisfactory Experience.I was expecting the mileage of 45-50kmpl.but it is not giving more then 40KMPL.This inspite of driving on good roads.
