After driving B. Chetak for the last 20 years it was time for the change. So after going through the reviews, test ride, and other things, finally I settled buying "New Honda Activa(normal variant, silver color)." I booked the scooter with Sri Dev Honda Meerut and got the delivery with 17 days after the initial booking. So the first words that came from my heart while I rolled my Honda out of the showroom on August 17, 2009 were, its gliding not riding.
Now I have covered at least 200 km and I got the average of 46 kmpl in Meerut city conditions. To check the average first I finished the petrol that was given at the time of delivery and kept a liter of petrol in pet bottle and the same exercise I repeated thrice. This way I confirmed the exact mileage. I am hopeful that average will go up after the first service. I will be writing again after I cover 1000 km.
