I was using Hero Honda Splendour for lots of years. After that due to some
health problem I was suggested to shift to scooter category. So on
expected lines I figured out which one will come close to splendour &
obivously I bought Honda Activa. I used it for few months but always on
complaning mode that Activa is very heavy, parking/ removing etc is
uncomfortable as its too heavy. Also the mileage is of 35-40 kms/liter
was adding to my irritation. When I brake the momemtum /pushing force was
giving a feel whether I will go & hit some one or I will lose control.
So I was thinking what should be the alternative and zeroed on HeroHonda
Pleasure Silver color. Pleasure has Activa’s engine(Honda), so the basic
engine is proved one. One of my family member was ready to use my
Activa. Pleasure is almost 10-11 kgs less weight than Activa, gives
mileage of around 45-50 kms/liter, lightweight so parking & moving around
is simple and easy. The head light is better than activa and Dio. Dio has
head light on front panel(& not on handle hehehe). The seating posture
is very good along with good shockups. The cost of pleasure is almost Rs
3000-4000 less than Activa.
When braking I dont get the momemtum /pushing force that I will hit some
one in front. The pick up is very good of 7 BHP & close to splendour .
The weight is slightly less than HeroHonda Splendour.
As of now Pleasure comes only in fibre/plastic body it can be improved
with metal body without much increasing the weight.
Only thing that I feel not so happy is why pleasure is marketed for
ladies(some thing like just for her) which actually is not the case and
these days I see many men are driving it.
