Honda has designed a flawed product with the BRV - it is not possible to see the gear-shifter at night as it is not lit, unlike in other cars, including the City or Jazz. In other words, you have to fumble in the dark to find the gear shifter, and have to stare into the instrument panel to ensure that it is in D(drive). It is ridiculous. Moreover, you cannot see the power window buttons at night, since they are not back lit. Beyond being ridiculous, it is also, in my opinion, very dangerous. The Honda service center told us that this is a very common problem. Since it is only evident at night, its Honda’s secret - no customer test drives the car at night. Ditto for the reviewing sites.
I contacted Honda about this, but they just gave me the brush off. They just dont care about you once you have purchased their product.
15 lakhs for a car without proper lighting? Absolute joke. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
