I have driven Satro for years and am great fan of its pickup, maneuverability through the city traffic. I was looking for an upgrade which gives me more pleasure than the legend(santro) itself. I have tried and tested i10, Swift but missed the fun and control in i10 and space(rear leg room) and interiors in new swift. Brio test drive, left with nothing more to ask for. Besides the package was most value for money as well. I was initially concerned about mileage as engine was bigger than santro. But, economic indicator in the car helped me in bringing up its initial mileage of 9km/l to 12.5kmpl in 2 months at normal traffic conditions in mumbai. When tested for longer distance than 5km, the mileage increased substantially upto 16kmpl but over the weekends nights, during which traffic is minimal over the roads. Looking in hindsight, I love the decision taken based over the facts, test drive and Honda brand equity.
PS: you would love how well Brio’s tyre profile 180/65R14 fits well with its body proportion. something I see missing in most of the B segment cars.
