Why I buy Brio:
I purchased Brio SMT on 8th Aug 13. I was searching a car which will fit my budget, family of 5, less driving economy (hence no Diesel), Different from others to some extent & mainly mileage expectation of 18-20 km/liter petrol & Brand.
Like & Dislike & Driving Experience:
By 18th I drove 1000 km hence 1st free servicing finished. What I experienced What I am mentioning.It may help you to decide. It is a good car in terms of Honda brand is concern. It is spacious both for front and rear passengers. It is far better than i10 in terms of space and riding posture. Sound is smooth & will feel proud to ride Honda.
Interior is average although music control switch on steering (this is now available on Sept’13 launching Grand i10 & new stingray WagonR; hence NO different will remain in future).Music system is superior. Servicing at Honda dealers are outstanding in terms of behavior and hospitality is concern. You need to check whether they solved your issues or not at delivery.
Defoggers works during rainy days.BUT major concern is IF I am Slowing down my car suddenly & my car is at 3/4/5 gear, pickup then onward will be Zero hence required to change gear to 2nd. This is a issue for me as I have a Maruti Zen Vxi before (1000cc) and not faced this. Boot space is little less. Mileage till date I am getting is 13.5 km in mixed road, which is below my expectation. Expected to rise in future but, will it be more 6/7 km I doubt. AC is not that efficient.STANDARD CAR & NO SPECIAL. (Don’t fall in love with Dopa-mine hormone secretion of brain, analyse & then buy).
My advise:
Don’t book it without confirm in written that stock is available with Engine no. as sales people my misguide you. Don’t use outside accessories like fog lamps or bumper guard as they will damage the finishing. Seat cover can be used from outside.
FINAL:
Good car if you loves it & don’t see outside world to compare it. You will feel internal satisfaction as a rider. See other cars like Liva, Grand i10, Ritz, Micra, and then decide to buy. But I am not dis-satisfied or happy with my New Honda Brio.
