Few days ago, I bought the new stunner 2010. first I decided that I’ll buy the Yamaha Gladiator but after watching this one in the showroom, it just caught my eyes on him. Though the stunner is a bit expensive than gladiator but the showroom people said that the Honda’s re-sell value is much better in our country. Any ways, I chose the stunner and get it with me to home. On the way I got noticed so many peoples and whoever see it, guessing its at least 150cc bike. I think it’s just wasting of time to explain about its look because you know. Lets talk about its performance:
Very very good pick up. you can bet with pulsar or hunk or any 150cc bikes. Acceleration really impressive though its a 125cc bike but, by riding, you can’t realize.
Nice control like hunk sometime better than that too. It’s braking is as good as it’s acceleration.
Smooth engine till 60km/h but after that its vibrate but not too much like pulsar.
Fuel consumption is important in my country as because its very expensive here. Not even I’ve completed first servicing but I’m getting 40km/l in heavy traffic like Dhaka city.
No need to pull the choke lever in the morning to start.
Gear shifting is very smooth I can compare it with Kawasaki 250cc bike which I ride in Kualalumpur.
And the suspension is also very good, I’m sure that u can’t feel any difference between unicorn’s mono suspension.
Things what can make it more attractive:
A hayabusa handle could make it more sporty.
A digital meter was necessary but it’s not any problem for me.
Vibration, but not too much how other people said in different opinions.
Poor horn.
Few suggestions:
Please maintain the speed limit of primary level like not exceeding 45km/h before 1000kms used.
careful about the engine oil.
careful about the self start, keep patience and use slowly.
Try to avoid your bike engine modification or other body modification, this could harm your bike’s performance.
Try to maintain your bike’s servicing periodically.
try to avoid riding with two pillion riders. that could make harm to engine and suspension.
You just take care about your bike then it will give you very good performance and its not only in stunner, any bike ever u ride.
I can say one thing is, a bike in 125cc segment like stunner has never made before in India as far my knowledge goes. Few people scares about vibration but I want to say, there definitely will be a bit vibration more or less, so don’t be worry about that. before buy, u just think about the performance and the brand. one thing u can remember is, Honda a world famous brand in motorbike business made a goodwill that they don’t want to lose. So, I don’t think if u decide to buy a bike like stunner will be wrong decision. Its simply good in 125cc segment.

Edited on 24.08.’10 - Dear friends, I’m editing my review after 1st servicing and 1200 kms running. I found some comments from few users that 1st gear 10km/h, 2nd gear 20km/h, speed doesn’t cross 80km/h etc.....etc...but my experience is, bike really reaches 0-60km/h within 5.2 seconds and after pulling full throttle it sounds awesome and reaches 100 km/h within 3-4 seconds. but the bike become light when it reaches 100 km/h speed. it feels like me and my bike are floating in the air. Its risky. should take one passenger with you when you want to go in long drive. I think this way you can maintain the wait of your bike among this speed. Still i’m satisfied with my bike. No complain....Engine is really smooth. I’ll edit my review after 2nd servicing 3000kms....bye....
Edited on 28.10.10 - Dear friends, this editing is made after my bike’s second service. EXCELLENT ...just EXCELLENT bike. No doubt its the best bike in 125cc segment. Few days ago, I went to long drive. 2 days riding, very few rest and its 520kms. Can you believe? After coming back home, the bike remains as it was before. And no pain at any of my body part at all. Highway mileage is about 40kms, not so exciting becos a 150cc bike will also give you same mileage but the performance is really really awesome. I think this will be a complete review of CBF Stunner. No need to explain more about this good bike. If you plan to buy a 125cc bike then go to this one and if 150cc, then you can go to Unicorn Dazzler. Thanks to stay with me.....Bye......
