I have been using this bike for an year now and trust me it is worth every penny. If you belong to middle class family like me and want to own a sports bike without breaking you bank then CBR 250 is the answer.
Riding this bike feels like riding an aero plane on road. It is really fast and you cab ride it at a constant speed of 100-110 Km/Hr on just ok roads also. Although I don’t recommend it as we must always follow the local speed limits of the area.
If you are from a small town then this bike will surely turn many heads as not many people in such towns will have this bike and it can be used as tool to impress people if you are into such things.
This bike not only looks and feels similar to a sports bike it also performs like one. Riding it is a thrilling experience and I highly recommend this bike for collage students.
If you like to ride your bike really fast then this is your thing.
However, there are several downside to it firstly the mileage of this bike as expected is just ok around 25 Km/L. Second, riding this bike for over 100 km at one stretch can be discomforting. So, if you have to travel long distances daily I don’t recommend this bike. Also riding this bike in heavy traffic area can be discomforting as it is quite heavy also.
This bike is for purely pleasure purpose not for business purpose. If you have a business for which you need to roam around the city the this bike is not for you then I would recommend some 150cc bike like FZ-S or Pulsar 150.
This kind of bike is better suited for bike lovers who want to enjoy their ride and are willing to pay a little extra for it.
Riding this bike on a daily basis is hectic and if you are under lot of stress in office or in business then reding this bike could feel rather frustating as riding it needs lots of concentration and attention.
Now the most important thing there are several other cheaper option for 200cc or 250cc bikes which are fairly cheaper than this. But the big difference in this bike and those bikes is quality and durability. Riding the cheaper like Pulsar 220 or
Karizma fells like riding a cheap Chinese toy. CBR 250 feels like a genuine sports bike. The built quality of this bike is phenomenal and when compared side by side it completely overshadows Pulsar, Karizma and other cheaper options.
Also it does not require lots of maintainence even if you leave your bike for several months and when you come back and try to start it with 1 self start it will start with no issues. I have uploaded real pics of my bike I went to pune for two monts and when I came back this was the condition of my bike I thought it would be trouble starting it but no it started instantly.
This shows really how durable this bike is and is well suited for Indian conditions. At last this bike is a absolute beast in its’s segment it very easily crosses 100KM/Hr and can easily reach up to 140 Km/Hr and belive me it’s amazing to ride that fast. One tip please request to you all always buy the ABS version of the bike don’t risk your life for few more thousands beacause no matter how much you think you will ride slowly but as soon as you get youe hands on it you will start testing it’s speed making job of the brakes very important so having ABS can be a matter of life and death.
To conclude don’t buy this bike if you are not a bike enthusiast and travel a lot daily on heavy traffic roads for long distances. Do buy this if you want to sports bike and like ride bikes in general. Highly recommended for collage students.
