Honda city

I have booked a new Honda city 1.5LE from Roda BB motor sdn Bhd and had collected the car on 18/11/2017. I am very excited as this is my first brand new car. On the way back after collecting the car, it was raining on that day. After I reached home, I noticed that the two front headlights have some fog /condensation inside. I immediately called the salesperson regarding on this issue and she replied that all Honda cars have this problem. I had also checked with my friends who own Honda cars whether they have encounter similar issues on their car and their reply is No.


On the 21/11/2017 , I drove the car to the nearest Honda service center located in Botanic klang to check on this issue. After checking by the service personnel, they had confirmed that there are condensation in both the front headlights and they have taken some photos. They replied that they will send this problem to the Honda HQ and will revert back to me in 3 days time. However, on the 3rd day, there was no reply. On the 4th day, I have to take the initiative to call them. They told me that they can’t do anything to solve this problem as the Honda HQ stated that the fogging /condensation will be cleared within an hour as all Honda car have the same problem.


As I am not satisfied with the answer, I personally drove to the service center to discuss this issue with the service manager. After some discussion, I asked service manager one question, in the end, you will not change the headlamps for me? . This service manager suddenly become very rude and he told me, we will not change the headlamps. I could sue you for asking this question .


I am very frustrated and disappointed in Honda after this incident. I would like Honda Malaysia management to look into this matter urgently.




  1. Condensation in the two front headlights. As my Honda city is a new unit, this problem should not occur and I had checked with several other Honda owners that they do not encouter this problem.




  2. The rude service manager from Botanic Auto mall sdn Bhd. I as a customer have the right to ask questions why my headlights will not be charged but the service manager should a validv& reasonable question. As this service manager representing Honda, this auction will give a very bad impression towards Honda.






Note : I have sent a pm last week and there is no reply and the website for enquires/ complaints is down for weeks.


Update : it’s been two months and still no reply.
