I bought Honda city - in May-2014. In January, 2015 first time Malfunctioning Light is on steadily ( not flashing) , and stopped car in the middle of the road. Accelerator was not worked at that time. I towed vehicle to Honda service center, and they said its software issue and reloaded software. Same Issue happened next day and stopped car suddenly in middle of the road. Again towed vehicle, and Honda service center team kept the vehicle with them for 3 days and said issue fixed.
So far I drove 12000 Kms only. Not heavily used also. Again suddenly the same issue happened in 19-August-2015, and 10-September-2015. Every time service center team reloads software. I have asked them to root cause the issue and if there is any faulty part, replace it. They say every time that, every thing is fine. Again 2 days back ( 16-sept-2015) car had same problem. Again took it to Honda service center, and the car is with them. Again, I have asked them to root cause the issue and if there is any faulty part, replace it. I gave the car for repair in
Day by day, I’m loosing confidence on Honda brand. They are making such a horrible product and pathetic service. Honda has to improve the product & service quality.
