I bought the Honda City ZX CVT in Apr ’06 and my car has done over 13, 000 KMS till date. I’ve had no problems whatsover with it till date. Am getting an average of 10.5 in Stop/Start traffic in hyderabad with Normal unleaded petrol. I was advised by the showroom guys to strictly use only unleaded petrol. They mentioned that they have observed problems in the Engine with prolonged use of premium petrol.
The only thing that sucks is the after sales service from Sundaram Honda. But it seems Honda Siel has listened to the customers and now we have a second dealer (Pride Honda) in Hyderabad.
One thing which I noticed (and also read in a review on this thread) is the body metal seems to get dented easily even with mild bumps. I’m not sure if this is because of the metal quality.
However the overall performance and ability to maneuver is excellent. The AC is not very effective in extreme hot conditions (> 36 degrees)
The interiors and seats are comfortable both for the driver and passenger. However I found the Fiesta to have a better ride comfort and suspension.
