I have bought a Honda dio 35 months ago. What a performance! It is a real wonder. First I wish to review the drawbacks. Primarily, it consumes more fuel (compared to 100 cc bikes).
Though there is a reliable fuel gauge, absence of reserve qty of fuel makes the rider stranded sometimes. One can’t just fill it, shut it and forget it. You have to remember it always. We have to lift the seat for fuel filling.
Initially, some start up problems during the morning arises. But, proper maintenance of Battery eliminates this problem. Other than above, some other problems are there.
If you ride this vehicle once, then you won’t like to ride any other vehicle. If you don’t have enough self control, then your competitor in the city roads is only luxury cars and SUVs and not bikes.
You will see the person who is riding other equivalent class bike as unintelligent.
If you are not much bothered about fuel consumption and if you want to purchase a Lady Scooter model, then DIO is the best suit.
I am getting fullest satisfaction in riding DIO and additional benefit is my heart becomes stronger enough to face the continuous fuel hike.
We are four in our family (with 2 little children). DIO is carrying us everywhere with full ease and comfort. In our area, one small hill is there with Motorable road. One can check the real performance of any bike there. In the test, DIO passes with distinction.
My vote is for DIO.
