I bought Dio in 2003 and its been two years, I have made it a point in these two years to atleast get good fuel in the Dio.(By good fuel I mean the speed version of petrol here). I would surely like to praise Honda for the seamless technology they have incorporated in the Dio.
The AT is real smooth and powerful. I have a kinetic Honda since 1992 and when I compare the ride of the two there are many differences. The torque is more for Dio and the power delivery more smooth and apart from this all the Fuel efficiency my DIO has given is 53-54 Kmpl.
The head light and the indicators are well positioned to complement the Retro look of the scootterette. For an AT 2 wheeler , I would give the Honda Dio #1 in India among the contenders at this time in the market from different contenders. Honda has time and again proved ’’Its a Honda’’ means something.
The Ride and handling is real cool , with the exhaust being positioned quite high, the dio can go across bends real fast and the angle of bend can be more. The thick wheels make it easy to handle and less prone to slip. The pick up is amazing, from standing to running its like butter.
