I recently purchased the Honda Portable Inverter Generator EU7000is, and I’m extremely disappointed with the product. It was advertised as having a quiet and efficient operation, but it has been far from that. The generator is extremely loud and difficult to move, which is concerning considering its size and weight.
In addition, the generator is incredibly inefficient. Despite being advertised as having an energy-saving mode, it still consumes a lot of fuel. In fact, I’ve had to refill the fuel tank multiple times in just a few hours. This is extremely inconvenient and costly, as fuel prices have been rising steadily.
Furthermore, the control panel is poorly designed and difficult to use. It’s not intuitive and lacks any kind of instructions. I had to rely on online tutorials to figure out how to use it. This is a major issue, as I would expect a generator of this caliber to have a well-designed and user-friendly control panel.
The generator also has an unreliable starting system. Despite following the instructions carefully, the generator still fails to start. I’ve had to use a pair of pliers to get it going, which is unacceptable.
Overall, I’m very disappointed.
