Yes I really mean it. I was using Hero Honda Passion since 2001 which I was really proud of excluding some problems like low pickup(than Splendour) and really bad headlights(Parking light bulb was more brighter that main bulbs) and the like.
And then on February 2008 I bought Honda shine for 53k at Pune. And I was happy that I didnt find any problems I had with Passion.
It is really a nice bike, good elegant looks(black in alloy wheels), good pick up power (compared to Passion), Brighter lights, neat milage(should be getting around 55+ km/lr in city), electric start, smooth with shock absorbers etc.
Now I have done 2 services and now I feel Honda has not still rectified the initial complaint of the heavy vibration. The bike realy starts to vibrate terribly if your speed is 50+ kmph. It really is. And its tyres are narrow that it can easily skid in rain(even passion has a wider tyre). So the point is, if you are speed crazy, pls don’t go for Shine. Otherwise take it for an evening ride.
