I am from Bangladesh. Though I am not a big fan of Hero or Hero Honda I have heard that, Honda Shine is one of the most successful model of Honda in 125 cc segment in India. My choices are, Hero Glamour, TVS Phoenix and Honda shine.
First I had seen the Hero Glamour and Hero without Honda, made me confused and the Logo Hero, I did not like at all printed on the bike, I did not feel confident on Hero in a word.Then I had seen, TVS Phoenix, I really liked it much but I have confusion, how reliable TVS would be, also my wife complained about the pillion seat space, which is smaller to her. over all, I liked the Phoenix and I believe, me with my wife will be fitted on Phoenix nicely, I am 70 kg and my wife is 85 kg.
Lastly I had seen the Honda CB Shine, the showroom was 120 km far away from my home, there is no Honda showroom at Dhaka till now. But Shine made me disappointed for it’s poor look. PLEASE NOTE, I have not made test ride any of these three, because in my country, there is no test ride facilities. I wonder to see, TVS tyre is fitted in the Honda CB Shine at the TANGAIL’s ZAM ZAM Motors showroom and the rear tyre is too much thin.
Ok, may be Shine is the coolest bike in 125 cc segment but really it looks poor, very very poor, thin TVS tubeless tyre and poor design made me confused. Yes, Shine is bigger than Glamour and Phoenix. I mean the sitting space at least.
Now I am thinking, will shine be able to full fill my purpose? Why Honda has fitted as much thin tyre at the rear!
I had used three bike before, Passion Pro form Hero HondaDiscover 100 DTSI from Bajaj And Bullet from Runner(Bangladeshi company)Among those three, Bullet and Passion Pro were best. Discover 100 was a waste.
My question is, I will use the bike for city travel with pillion and daily around 50 km and sometime I will go in highway also, say. 250 to 300 km in a day but very rarely.If I want to go for Phoenix, will that be a wise decision?You guys know, Phoenix got the most fatty wider rear Tyre in 125 cc segment.Naki CB Shine will be better for me?
