: hi guys,
honda unicorn-nice name isnt it.well the name isnt the only thing that is nice, au contraire to other reviews I think the bike looks really nice.it may resemble the cbz but im sure many of you wanted the looks&the power of cbz but could not digest its measly mileage.now I think that the unicorn is perfect for these cases, not only is it more powerful it is also cheaper, and best of all it comes with a monoshock suspension. the only minus point I can think of are the not so broad as cbz tyres and the kerb weight which is about 5kg more than the cbz, making the unicorn slightly difficult to manouver on city roads.
as far as the bajaj pulsar is concerned, in my view the unicorn is definitely better.the pulsar has looks but it is not so responsive in controlling and the gear box creates problems after I year itself. moreover its tyres are thinner than that of the unicorns and kerb weight equal to that of the unicorn.
the ES is something that the unicorn lacks but the really smooth kick start more than compensates for that(unlike the pulsar).when I took the unicorn for a test ride I was really impressed by its noiseless but powerful engine.the horn is a definite let down.on the whole I think that this is a bike which deserves mention.one more thing, the guy in the honda showroom told me that I can lodge a case against honda if it does not give a mileage of 60.if it can deliver such a mileage then it definitely becomes the best in its segment.
bye,
