Rotten petrol tank, poor quality parts

I bought my unicorn around 3 years back, from Sterling Honda, Chinchwad(Pune).

Three weeks back, I noticed petrol leacking from the tank. Took my bike to a local workshop, who put some adhesive and it worked for around a week. He suggested meto show it to the dealer.

Before that I contacted the main office, and they suggest to take it to the dealer who will take pictures of hte rusted tank and the main office would let me know within a weeks time. I waited and waited and there was no reply. Now the main office guy says that since the bike is out of warrenty period, nothing can be done about it.

Does this mean that after the warrenty is over, the bike might get turn into a rotten piece of junk? After paying morethan 50, 000 rupees, what do I expect? this quality is certainly not expected from Honda. While buying this bik, I trusted Honda soo much for the quality, but now its all gone.

I will never suggest anyone to buy anything from Honda. They are using poor quality materials and giving shitty products in Indian market.

I’m planning to pull Honda Motorcycles India, into consumer court and show their real picture to the media.

DO NOT TRUST HONDA!
