I’m back with new experiences ...
I’ve recently completed 4500Km on my Silver Unicorn and it is running smooth and no errors at all. Let me Categories my Review:
1. Design and Shape
Design and Graphics are good specially in Glow-Silver model. I’ve 2006 model and I have one unique feature in design, my bike’s whole body is in Glow-Silver color, even the battery cover section under is in Silver, other Silver Unicorns have it in Black color only a 21 bikes were launched with this variation as my dealer told me. And I’m happy with this unique Design style, now my bike looks longer and Stunning than other silver Unicorns.
This bike is made for speedsters. Design is Aero-Dynamically perfect and bike doesn’t shiver even at high speed of 100Kmph. Also handling is good on slow Speed and while tripling. Smooth on deep turns and in traffic you can easily bend it and can overtake cars and trucks. So no need to wait for others to give you space to overtake. A true Honda Design to reduce friction. I’m Loviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing ittttt!
2. Performance and Mileage
Performance is excellent! I am using it from last 2 1/2 months and it is giving me more than expected. Although I am a descent guy and don’t want to break any traffic rule, yet I am a real speed lover and can’t hold mysel when someone overtakes me specially a 150cc Bike rider. I have beaten many P-150s and Apaches but few bike have good stemina Like CBZ and Karizma, CBZ is always in my reach while on long run but Karizma has a more powerful engine of 225cc so it is really difficul to beat a Karizma on long run but on busy roads Unicorn is more than a 150cc Bike it beats all bikes in flexiblity to take deep turns and overtaking. It goes smooth and fast.
Milage is best in Premium Bikes section. My Unicorn gives a good 55-60 Kmpl on smooth rides with minimum braking. But if you are a Rash-Rider and you rides on 90-100Kmph speed and uses more Clutch and Brakes than the milage will be 50-53 Kmpl not less than that.
3. Advice
1:) Please try to use minimum breaking and clutch to improve the performance and Milage of your bike. It is expert’s advice (I’m not a bike expert, I’ve consulted with one).
2:) If you are going to buy a bike make sure it is Honda Unicorn and is a Self-Start Model as it has the best Self-Start in Indian Bike Just one press and Vroooooooooom... you are the first to cross a signal.
3:) This bike has an Awsome engine and Body Frame and is heavy 136 Kg so please be careful while riding in traffic on slow speed and taking turns on very slow speed or putting your weight on your right leg.
4:) Take care of your silencer cover plate. I’ve got a big dent on it while other bike hit me from right side. Just take care nothing false in bike.
