I just love the feeling of owning a bike and that too with such a good engine quality.
This is my first bike so I may not be an expert in whatever I am saying but I have done a lot of research into it .Pros : If u not worried about pick up and all this bike is a gem. Awesome comfort and I just cant get enuff of the engine even after riding it day in and day out .I love 2 look at the honda logo on it in the night especially and this is one of the main reasons I got this bike :O. I was disappointed 2 see that even CB shine has it now because I felt lil common now.But ya every 1 loves the bike so unicorn is common and so is the honda logo :)For tall ppl this bike is ideal . Another main reason I got this bike . I am 6’2 . So needed a high bike and I guess this is the highest in all bike categories ( may be gs 150 is more)
Cons : Well this bike promises a mileage of 60 on highway . Never rode on 1 yet but still I expected at least 50 and this is 1 reason I am really disappointed . Because I hardly get a max of 40 . The max I got was 41 and minimum was 27 :O :O .though 41 was with unleaded and 27 with normal ...yet I guess 41 is 2 less and I have noticed CB unicorn gives lesser than the older unicorn because my friends having unicorn get 45 minimum and yes 1 friend consistently gets 60.
So it’s variable. But ya CB unicorn mileage is disappointing. Then another bad thing is the disc brake . Withing 2 months I had 2 get its alignment set again and that 2 the service center charges 250 + taxes within the free servicing periods which is really annoying and the next time I go for servicing 45 days later and again its alignment has 2 be changed. And this is a problem with the old unicorn as well. Alignment hasa to be changed if riding on city roads and that is bad because service center charges 2 much . It can be done 4 cheaper outside but my dad wudnt allow me 2 because he trusts honda and frankly speaking I dnt trust them so much because they charge a lot unnecessarily and their behaviour towards customers is not that good . I would like 2 mention the name of my dealer also "Om Sai - Malad "
But if I would have to recommend any1 2 buy a bike I would not blindly say unicorn like many ppl do. But I would not say dont buy it as well because yes it is the best wen it comes 2 aa 150 cc bike with simple features and comfort .
