This is my first review in mouthshut though I am a regular reader of different reviews posted here. I would like to share some experience about my 5 months old Unicorn. It is a 2008 sports model red color. Bike is really smooth and noise less.
But initial pickup is not so good. I feel some rough feeling if I cross 50km/h in 4th gear. But in 5th gear the bike is very smooth, accelaration is good after 50kmph speed and you can feel it as a Racing Bike. Now I have done first two free services and it crossed approx 2400km.Maximum speed I reached till now 90kmph.
Now I want some suggestion from you guys regarding some problem I am being faced. Regarding the speed limit maintain in running in period I almost maintained the speed limit(50km/h) and RPM limit of 4k in running in period.
But sometimes I crossed (not very often) the limit up to 70km/h. Though I could not notice any problem in engine transmission. Is there any effect I could found in engine performance in future? And regarding the engine noise and vibration reason can you please share your experience.
As I found some noise in engine now yet that was not present when it was brand new. Is it comes because of speed limit cross during running in period? Please suggest me also there is some vibration after crossing 80kmph. I explained this to the service guys of Honda service center and those people are hopeless and could not tell me any valid reason.
Over all I am happy with my bike. But still it is not best value for money. Front suspension are not so strong in rough road condition and it hit with the mud guard often. Couple of things missing are digital Speedo, let tail lamp, head lamp is not so powerful.
