Hi all MS Members, this is my second review. Completed second service @ 3025 km reading. My earlier engine vibration problem was solved and thx to our MS member for his reply in identifying the exact setting to be done. The maximum mileage I got yesterday was 63 kmpl. ( Speed 55-70 )Using HP Power Petrol, as I always used to it.
After second servicing I switched from Motul 3000 4t plus to Motul 300v Factory line full synthetic (650/-).My Uni is worth for it and I love to care of her.I live goa and its a somewhat a hilly area, Now I find my UNI climbs the road pretty easier and without any stress. My observation is not to use self-start in morning cold conditions. I love my bike, but I need to kick it every morning to spread the oil in internal engine to save from scratching herself :)
One thing I notice is that she speeds up with any effort and I feel like some hand is pushing up from behind. Had Squeking Noise in mono suspension. The service centre guys removed the big bolts near the chrome plating and re-greased the whole unit and fixed it back, now its ok. Service centres in Goa arent that bad but, sometimes I see customers shouting at these guys for un-attended repeated errors.
For front fairing vibration in top speed (95-115) I removed the two plastic supporters near the handbar and you can see big silver bolts underneath, loosen those and place your hands beneath the headlights Doom and push it upwards dont take care your maintain the pressure and tight these bolts upto MAX. Then place the plastic supporters, applying pressure at the end of the palstic to upwards tight those screws, by this way the front vibration can be surpressed. Its my nature to share experience with my fellow unicorn lovers, if you know this pls neglect for those new bikers like me fix this by yourself its fun. Fixing the small here and there problems will help a lot in bike maintenance.
For fun, Sometimes I ride near any pulsars on-road and maintain a constant speed along with them for a minute to show them the refinement of my Unicorn :)
Ive already given an order for NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug to improve the electrical and mileage performance. Many of my fellow members might think what a spark plug does in major. But thats wrong. First of all its bye-bye to cold start coz, normal spark plugs require more voltage at the tip to produce the life- spark for the ignition, which is usually required more in morning times. Iridium IX uses 0.6mm spark tip which reuires less power but produces constant spark with min timing and self cleans itself by adjacent arcing.

This is good and Resonable upgrade to unicorn, to be sporty enough from inside.The cost is a bit high but worth it, here in goa its 550/-
Ok Guys I will write another review after upgrading my UNI. Shes worth it. I like Vrooooom Sound when she picks up from 1st, 2nd & 3rd and then the engine goes on silent mode :)thats make me a proud owner.
