I have been using this bike from June 2008 ( new model with metal logo). I find it extremely comfortable to run. The sitting position is perfect and gear shifts when done at proper speeds are very smooth. The engine is very smooth and low noise
The self start is bang on and it starts effortlessly even when start in early morning after not using the bike for 2 or 3 days (without the choke)
The negatives I have is the poor headlight which is really bad. It is neither properly focussed and very dim. My earlier Bajaj Caliber 115 was having a much better headlamp. how about other users ?? is this in my bike only ??
Also the mileage in city riding is 45 - 47 KMPL. I have tested this more than 10 times in various Petrol bunks. I have crossed 2800 kms now and due for 3rd service. I have been riding bikes since 1990 and my first bike was Kawasaki Bajaj KB100 and eve that used to give me 48- 50 kmpl in city riding & Caliber used to give 60 - 65 kmpl
Overall, I feel the cost of operation is more both in terms of buying (66000 on road in Chennai) and running. But you can be assured of a comfortable noise free ride.
