Honda Motorcycle& Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.(HMSI) more popularly known as Honda have earned themselves a highly reputable reputation in the Indian market. Their motorcycles and scooters are synonymous for having a refined engine, a good fuel efficiency and cycle parts that last a lifetime. Although their 110cc motorcycles and scooters like the CD 110 and the Activa bring in the highest number of sales, there was one motorcycle that Honda launched in 2005 that paved the way for a new segment and set a new benchmark. We’re talking about the Honda CB Unicorn 150. Initially the motorcycle was called just the Unicorn but was soon incorporated in to the CB family alongside the CB Twister, the CB Trigger and the CB Dazzler. But what set the Unicorn apart from other motorcycles was its superior level of comfort, handling and mileage. At that period of time the Honda Unicorn was the only motorcycle that offered you the comfort of a 110cc motorcycle but the performance of a bigger 150cc motorcycle while still managing to return a fuel efficiency of a 125cc motorcycle. All these factors made the Honda Unicorn the most sought after motorcycle by the masses and continued to do so until it was discontinued a few years ago. But now Honda is re-launching the CB Unicorn 150 and the main reason for this is, it’s back by public demand.
