I have travelled 32, 400 km in my Unicorn. I bought it in April 2005. The engine still feels the same. There are few problems with the rear panels as I had 2 severe accidents. I have not change any spares except that I replaced my back tyres at 24, 000 km. And also the front suspension bairing balls coz of the accident. I live in Bangalore and go to a service center called JUST BIKES in front of Ramaiah Hospital on the BEL road. That guy is just amazing. Anyway I got really bad service from the service center when I was in delhi.
Usually I drive at 50 - 65 km/h in the City and 80 - 100+ in the highways. When in Delhi I used to ride it at 80 kph in the city on an average, and 105+ on the highways. It gives me 50-55 kmpl according to the roads condition.
Now that the new stylised Unicorn has come I think with alloy wheels it will be a sure winner. This is the best bike in its class. But people crazy for speed should wait for the 250 cc bikes to be launched by both Yamaha and Honda within a year.
