I bought this pyt 14 months and 8000 kms ago.Now I have heard people rave about this machinery like lunatics so let me bring some sanity to the proceedings. All’s well now lets focus on some downsides-
1) The average isnt exactly what it used to be..I mean it still gives me 47ish but nothing to be all gung ho about.
2) The gear shift isnt all that buttery as it used to be. A lot of false neutrals and jittery shifts seem to be the order of the day.
3) The tuff up without any doubt is an excellent innovation but look at the bad part..you are taking a ride and somehow somewhere a sharp article pierces the tyre. Now you wont even come to know about it and the next morning you come to your bike and lo and behold..all this long run with this sharp object stuck inside the tyre turns the tube into shreds and you have to go for a tube replacement ( happened with me guys)
4) The price of the spare parts are steep( although I do not know about the price of the spare parts of pulsar etc) The front assembly is Rs 1100 and if u manage to get hit from the rear you will be down by atleast a grand!
5) The The back assembly is so complex that for slightest of changes the entire thing has to be dismantled.
6) And last but definitely not the least Honda may be a world class company but for its customers Honda is nothing but its dealers which are a far cry from being world class!
So there you go..lots of sulking eh? But all said and done I can claim with 100% confidence that the feel of this machinery is so bloody addictive that u just cannot imagine driving any other bike...ever!
