Just one word to describe Hong Kong.... Awesome....
I have been to few beautiful cities in the world/ India but this is the most amazing city....
When I went to Hong Kong for the first time last year November for a business trip, I was not anticipating anything special.
I took Air India, leaves Delhi at 11:15pm India time and reaches HK at 7:00am HK time. Total around five and half hours.
The moment you touch the airport you get awestruck... ( Well, Changi still is my most favorite airport). You catch a train to the departure counter , train leaves every three minutes.
Best thing is Visa on arrival, no long queues, by the time you get the passport , your luggage has arrived.
You catch the Airport express to Central ( Buy a two way ticket, proves cheaper). I stayed at Shangri La at Edmirality.
The 28 minutes journey is very enjoyable. This must be the only city where you witness sea, high rise , hills and clouds all together. Breathtaking.....
Great place for shopping ( though little expensive), phenomenal men’s wear, women wear. Best brands...
Superb transport facilities. If you are roaming at 1:00pm in the night you will feel that it’s evening and not night. This is the energy and life at HK. Marvellous....
If you eat seafood then Hong Kong is the place, otherwise there is always JoJo’s mess for great Indian food at Wan Chai and Food street.
I have heard that Disneyland is superb and there was some great weekend getaways but I haven’t been to any.
I have been to HK four times in last four months and it still is not enough.....
Looking for many more trips to HK....
