Location wise also best all major area such as the Mandovi river, owned by Portuguese once upon a time. Lanes are not so wide but very clean, really peaceful area. The building is nearly 150 years old.
Owner Mr. Roy converted it into guest house.it is a well-maintained guest house. I stayed in room no. 3 on the ground floor. It was a big room with antique furniture.
A king size bed of old Era, fridge, dressing table, ac, tea maker etc. The bathroom was big with shower area. A small sitting area with a rocking chair and a table. Every day we had our morning tea there. Housekeeping service was up to the mark. Daily used hand and bath towels were changed daily. Bed was made every day by their staff. They have rooms on the first floor also. They are bigger with a balcony.
But staircase is pretty difficult for senior citizens.
Hospedaria Abrigo de Botelho - Goa basic amenities: So we preferred ground floor. Our breakfast was included. good buffet breakfast served in the dining room. No regular restaurant is there. As it is a B&B guest house.
