At the very beginning of my blogging career, someone recommended me to purchase Hostgator hosting and I followed him blindly and purchased the baby plan of Hostgator India. The package includes unlimited domain, unmetered disk space, and unlimited bandwidth.
I was covering IPL through one of my cricket news websites and the site was down suddenly, I thought maybe there could be any problem from my side but I crosse check all the technicality. After troubleshooting the problem I understand that the problem is from the hosting side.
I contacted Hostgator support and told them to resolve the problem. But they were simply saying nothing is a problem from our side.
After some time I contacted them again and they said there is maintenance work going on the server which I have purchased but all those were excused from their side as all other sites were live on that particular IP.
After some time I get to know that they have suspended my hosting account without any prior notice and as result, my site was down for more than two days and I have faced a revenue loss of more than$200.
Now I can say clearly don’t buy shared hosting from Hostgator if your site is going to get good traffic they will suspend your site and your site will down and your rankings in google will drop.
