After all the saas-bahu serials, antakshari-musical programmes, boring news and after endlessly flipping through the channels with frustration , one fine day I saw some programme that answered my prayers.AXN it was that finally decided to push the experimental frontiers to the unchartered territories by indian TV channels.My prime time nowadays starts at 11pm and AXN is the channel to tune into if you want some real fun and some light viewing at the end of the day.
For a brief intro for the uninitiated , as the name suggests , it is a totally bindaas programme.This used to be aired on Tuesday and thrusday at 11pm , just at the right time .Infact every serial that goes on air at 11-12pm slot on AXN is worth watching.This programme takes you to some wild crazy party destinations, events across the globe .In one hour be prepared to travel through Brazil carnival, playboy mansion, summer break student parties in LA, Las vegas showgirls, resorts in bahamas , beer festival in munich and beaches of south France and Spain .Lucky are the ones who hosts this programme , that takes them to such exotic locations week after week.Some may complain or may find offending about lots of skin , skimpy bikinis , dresses shown on this serial or documentary , but beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, and I have nothing to complain against it, atleast this is much decent and bearable to watch than the midnight masala that airs on some SUN TV tamil channels.But I just hope our Sushma aunty(Is she still the IB minister?) or shiv sainiks dont bump into this serial and spoil the cheap fun of mortals like us.Frankly I wonder how come , AXN has been able to hoodwink our culture cops or ’’ban the FTV’’ bandwagon, but so far, so good.
