This is a small joint run by the Prabhu brothers Raja & Arun. As far as my knowledge goes they were the ones to introduce Tomato omelette, Masal dosa, and Gobi manchuri to the people of karwar. Poornima also serves ice cream of different varieties under the brand name Poornima Icecream. GUDBUD is their specialty and was also a novelty they introduced to the Karwari.
For any one looking for quality north indian vegetarnian food and icecreams Poornima is the right place, where you get your money’s worth for every rupee spent.
I have special memories of this place because, Ganga, pradeep, Jude, Prakash and I, along with other friends shared idli tove, batata bajji and tea daily during college days, mostly on credit.
Neither Arun or Raja drove us away even once.
