After a stressful day in the office, a place to relax and have a good dinner. This is what we techies wanted last Friday evening. Of the many options, we chose Sai Palace. The ambience is quite fine here. It is not far from the Andheri station and located at Chakala junction of Andheri-Kurla road.
We ordered food which came after a good 50 minutes. The food is not anything great here. They don’t have a good chef out there. They can afford one, considering the prices they charge on the food items.
But the worst part came when one of my friends chewed on his food and very nearly broke one of his teeth. There was a piece of metal in a vegetable dish. The damaging piece of evidence was handed over to the waiter.
Then came the supervisor to apologise for the incidence. But the funniest part was the arguments he provided.
’’This can happen anywhere’’. But we countered it by telling him that it was not expected in Sai Palace.
’’Suppose you are travelling by car and the car breaks down...’’. Well do you accept us to take out an insurance policy on our teeth?
So friends, remember to take out an insurance policy on your teeth if you happen to have food in Sai Palace
