Hotel Saroj

Was on my way to some other restaurant actually and that’s when my eye caught this hotel. I tought why not give it a shot.

So we got in. And by the looks of it being fully crowded on a Sunday afternoon my exoecations from this place immediately started to rise. After waiting a couple of minutes we got our seats in the top floor A/c section which was kind of a bit cramped up but we had to manage. The decor of the place is quite simple yet it radiates perfection. I thought this place just served Indian and Chinese cuisines but as soon as I saw Italian and Mexican on the menu I was so happy!

I ordered a cheese garlic bread nachos with cheese and panner chilly for starters. The garlic bread were yummy inspite of them being small in size. The nachos tasted a bit off but when tired along with the tomato onion puree it was a lot better. The planner chilly was good too.

The problem was of service . Yaa I can understand that it was a busy day for them but the food took more than 15 minutes to come at the table. If they could improve this the hotel would be one of the best in chembur.

Then on recommendation of the hotel staff we orders Veg Chop masala. Something new to try on. And we were not disappointed! Though it was jus normal veggies chopped up and servers it had a really good and spicy taste. The triple shezwan rice were a bit let down. Well you can have way better Chinese some where else. Then comes the pasta neopolitan. They were tasty. When the waiter brought in the pasta I was disappointed looking at its quantity but when I emptied the bowl of pasta onto my plate. I had a real tough time finishing all of it! Filled with veggies and less oily the pasta are a must try.

The fresh lime soda tasted cool with the right amount of lime sugar and masala.

The chocolate cookie brownie was damn good! With hide and seek crumbs on the top it was a perfect thirst quencher and a damn cool dessert!

Lastly all I want to add is this place is definitely worth visiting. And till the day I had been here I had no idea this place even existed. Worth a try for the Indian Italian and Mexican cuisines. ????????????????And I’m having second thoughts for the Chinese served here????????????
