Hotel Smart Inn at Pune is not that smart, yet. The so called
self-service hotel and its management may take more time to improve on
the bare civil structure they have provided to business traveler.
To start with, their Online Check-in facility was not operational during
end of April’2008. When I landed at hotel, their smart check-in
facility was not working so I had to go thru manual check-in.
In the
room as well in the lobby, thier Wi-Fi was not working which spoiled my
business tour of 4 days. The staff was either ignorant about facilities
or indifferent to guests queries. Their one line answer to all the
complaints was , ’please write to management’. They could not arrange a
cab for city visit for me. In a nutshell, currently this hotel provides
you good neat clean room facility.
Complimentary Breakfast arranged on
storage shelfs is very basic and other services or facilities are none
to negligible. Carry your own toiletries, drinking tumblers, a water
jug may be and you are assured a good inexpensive, well located
accommodation.
